Legal Data Policy

Lumi Money believes users should understand how long data is retained and how to remove it.

1. Data Retention

We retain personal and financial data only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service
  • Meet legal and compliance obligations
  • Resolve disputes

When possible, data is anonymized or aggregated.

2. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Lumi Money account at any time.

Upon deletion:

  • Your account will be deactivated
  • Linked financial connections will be disconnected
  • Personal data will be deleted or anonymized, except where retention is legally required

3. How to Request Deletion

We may verify your identity before processing requests.

4. Backup & Logs

Some residual data may remain temporarily in secure backups but is not used for active processing.
